Frequently asked questions
Is this financial advice?
No. Scorance surfaces technical setups filtered by historical expectancy data. It's an educational and informational tool, not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything. You make your own trading decisions.
What does "expectancy gating" actually mean?
Every setup type has a real historical performance record — the mean R-multiple (risk-adjusted return) it's produced over your trade history. A setup only shows up on your scan if that number clears a minimum sample size and a positive threshold. When a setup's real performance goes negative, it disappears from the feed automatically.
How often does it scan?
Scans run on 30-minute bars during market hours for stocks, and continuously for crypto symbols. You trigger a scan manually from your dashboard; each plan has a daily scan cap.
What data does it use?
Market price data comes from a standard financial data provider. Expectancy numbers come from real historical trade performance, not a backtest assumption.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — from your account, click "Manage billing" to open your subscription settings. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of your current billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
We don't provide refunds for partial billing periods. If something's gone wrong on our end, reach out and we'll sort it out.
What happens if I hit my daily scan limit?
You'll see a message telling you the limit and when it resets. Higher-usage plans have a higher daily cap.
